Dear New Clients, please read about OUR THERAPY MODEL:

We follow best practices based on the latest research to maximize your results. Studies show that clients who have weekly sessions in the earlier stage of therapy see progress faster and ultimately spend less time and money than those who attend bi-weekly or monthly.

To support your progress, when you start working with our therapists, you’ll begin with recurring weekly sessions, with your reserved day and time held just for you.

As you move through therapy, you and your therapist will decide together when to adjust the frequency of sessions.

Our goal is to help you make meaningful, lasting progress in the most effective way possible.

I Understand What You’re Carrying

About Me

I am a temporary licensed mental health counselor specializing in supporting adult individuals who are looking for a healthy way to navigate through the challenges that are weighing you down.

My background in both business ownership and leadership has shaped a practical, grounded approach to therapy, while my passion for emotional healing creates a space where real transformation can happen. You’ll find a warm, supportive environment where you can feel seen, heard, and understood.

My Approach

Many of my clients come to me feeling “stuck” emotionally or mentally - caught in patterns they can’t quite name, weighed down by self-doubt, or unsure how to move forward despite wanting things to change.

I believe getting “unstuck” happens when you feel truly heard - not just as a client, but as a whole person. Being able to talk about challenges in an open, non-judgmental, compassionate, and safe environment and having an empathetic ear can help you begin your healing process. In our work together, you bring your lived experience, your questions, your pain, your hopes, and I provide a grounded space, curiosity, respectful challenging, and the tools to help you make sense of it all.

Therapy with me is a partnership. We walk the path together, at your pace, with your voice leading the way to rewrite your story, reclaim your sense of self, and move toward deeper self-understanding and lasting change. Whether you’re navigating a new chapter, rebuilding after loss, or striving for balance, I’m here to guide you toward clarity, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose.

About Me

Trained in both clinical mental health and marriage and family therapy, I have been a counselor for almost two decades. I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including an inpatient psychiatric hospital, a therapeutic day treatment facility, and several outpatient clinics.

What drew me to this work initially was watching several family members struggle with mental health issues when I was younger. As I got older, I discovered I had a knack for empathetic listening and perspective-taking, and I decided to become a therapist.

I’m a passionate advocate for accessible, affordable mental health care for all, and my lobbying efforts have taken me all the way to Congressional offices in Washington D.C.

Who I Help

Many of my adolescent and adult clients come to me saying they feel confused and defeated by life’s circumstances, and they cannot seem to move forward, despite many earnest attempts.

They may feel isolated or abandoned, believing no one can understand their loneliness and often-hidden pain. They report strained relationships and broken hearts. Some have never seen a therapist before, and many wonder whether counseling can really make a difference.

As a narrative therapist, I believe it’s easy for people to get “stuck” in personal, relational, and societal stories about themselves that might not actually be true. In our sessions, we explore the impact of these stories and how clients can activate their innate strengths and abilities to “re-write” difficult experiences as a pathway to emotional restoration and empowered living.

My Approach

My approach to therapy is person-centered and highly collaborative. Even though I have years of education and experience as a counselor, I firmly believe that each client is the expert in their own life.

I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is open, nonjudgmental, thought-provoking, and sometimes surprisingly fun. My clients often say I have a warm, calming presence and that I’m easy to talk to, even about the hardest things.
