About Me
I’m a temporary licensed mental health counselor with over five years of experience supporting teens and adults through some of their most vulnerable and transformative seasons. I’ve worked across various levels of care, including crisis services, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP), which has shaped a responsive, grounded, and compassionate approach to therapy.
What drew me to this work is a deep belief in people’s resiliency to heal when they feel seen,
safe, and supported. I want clients to know that therapy with me is collaborative — you bring
your story, and I bring the tools and space to help you grow within it.
Who I Help
I work primarily with adolescents and adult women who are navigating anxiety related
difficulties including obsessive and compulsive behaviors or thoughts, excessive worry, and panic.
My clients often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed from managing school/ career pressure, relationship stress, past trauma, or intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors. I’m especially passionate about helping those who feel like their struggles are “too much” for others to understand. I help them feel less alone, empowered in their story, and resilient to create the change they want.
Many of my clients say things like, “I’m tired of overthinking everything,” or “I feel like I have to be in control all the time, or everything will fall apart.” Some feel like their thoughts are running their lives, while others feel numb, anxious, or just… off.
They often wish people could see the effort it takes just to get through the day — to look “okay” on the outside while wrestling with ruminating thoughts within. Therapy with me starts by validating their emotions and helping them feel understood — maybe for the first time in a long time.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is person-centered, strength-based, and collaborative. I believe each person already has the capacity for healing within them.
I tailor my work to each client’s needs using evidence-based practices, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, trauma-informed care, and cognitive-behavioral techniques.
Clients often tell me that therapy with me feels like a conversation with someone who genuinely listens, challenges gently, and celebrates small wins along the way.

About Me
Trained in both clinical mental health and marriage and family therapy, I have been a counselor for almost two decades. I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including an inpatient psychiatric hospital, a therapeutic day treatment facility, and several outpatient clinics.
What drew me to this work initially was watching several family members struggle with mental health issues when I was younger. As I got older, I discovered I had a knack for empathetic listening and perspective-taking, and I decided to become a therapist.
I’m a passionate advocate for accessible, affordable mental health care for all, and my lobbying efforts have taken me all the way to Congressional offices in Washington D.C.
Who I Help
Many of my adolescent and adult clients come to me saying they feel confused and defeated by life’s circumstances, and they cannot seem to move forward, despite many earnest attempts.
They may feel isolated or abandoned, believing no one can understand their loneliness and often-hidden pain. They report strained relationships and broken hearts. Some have never seen a therapist before, and many wonder whether counseling can really make a difference.
As a narrative therapist, I believe it’s easy for people to get “stuck” in personal, relational, and societal stories about themselves that might not actually be true. In our sessions, we explore the impact of these stories and how clients can activate their innate strengths and abilities to “re-write” difficult experiences as a pathway to emotional restoration and empowered living.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is person-centered and highly collaborative. Even though I have years of education and experience as a counselor, I firmly believe that each client is the expert in their own life.
I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is open, nonjudgmental, thought-provoking, and sometimes surprisingly fun. My clients often say I have a warm, calming presence and that I’m easy to talk to, even about the hardest things.
